Lead has a variety of natural properties which make it very suitable for roof coverings and it is used by most roofing contractors.

This includes being soft but heavy, easily shaped, molded or formed, a poor conductor of electricity, non combustible, highly resistant to corrosion and aesthetically pleasing.
